SUBMISSIONS: email Hazel vivamusica@telus.net or telephone the office at 250-762-8967. Once you have a confirmed audition time, please email a recent headshot and resume or bring one to the audition when you come. Actors are requested prepare a verse and chorus from either High School Musical or similar styled show. An accompanist will be provided, but you must bring a clear copy of the sheet music for the song you are singing. No a cappella auditions please. In addition please prepare a 2 minute monologue suitable for the age group for which you are auditioning.

STORYLINE: The short film brings around the theme of family bond – dealing with the departure of a loved ones and subtle gender-acceptance issue: A single-parent family has to deal with the departure of the only son to somewhere far for a considerably-long period of time. He finally comes back after he transforms himself into a female. This short will centre around the eve of his departure and the day he comes back.
