I don’t know much about this production company, but they’ve done really well at the Fringe festival the last couple of years. Make sure that you’re comfortable with the content before going out for the audition, from the name of the production company and the play I suspect there will be some mature content. They’ll send you a monologue and a scene from the play to prepare for the audition, you can always decide after they send it to you if it’s something you’re comfortable doing. -Michael Bean, Owner+Head Coach, Biz Studio

The reason a large film like this puts out an open casting call is because they’re looking for something really specific. In this case they’re looking for two native boys to play age 11, and a boy who’s a small 8 or 9 to play a “wild” kid who’s grown up in the bush. For the right boys, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of a US feature film — a credit like this on your resume could really open doors for your career, especially if the movie is good
