Anytime you’re going out for a student film audition, ask to see the whole script before you go in. They won’t always let you read it, but when they do it will help you get a sense of whether it’s going to be a good film, and will help you make choices for your character that fit the script more closely. -Michael Bean, Owner & Head Coach, Biz Studio

In this film, we meet the 7 year old Jessica who has this weird attachment to her purple ball, given by her mother when she was 3 years old. While Jessica is walking on the street one day, the ball falls off from her backpack and rolls into a glass vase that eventually uncovers an interesting, yet lonely interconnections between the three characters… “Stuck There” is a delicate, touching tale about Jessica and Kaja (homeless girl) trying to separate the purple ball from the vase, and through this journey they find the missing puzzles in their life.

Here’s a Cap College student film looking for a teen in a supporting role. Another clip for your demo reel, another couple of days learning on-set instead of always learning in the classroom. Especially when you’re starting up, doing student films is a great idea. -Michael Bean, Owner & Head Coach, Biz Studio

I’ve received three different emails about this project, they really want to spread the word. “Triple Sensation” is a spinoff from the term “triple threat” used to refer to actors who can also sing and dance. Acting + singing + dancing = triple threat. They’re holding open-call auditions in Vancouver, apparently you pre-register online and then show up to register on the day (?). A little time online will get you the info you need. If you decide to audition for this, be prepared to be in line with hundreds of other hopefuls. Since this is the second season, do your homework too. Watch some YouTube Videos of the first season, read everything on the Triple Sensation Website, get on BitTorrent and download some old episodes, whatever you can do. Use that research to help you choose audition pieces that are appropriate to the show, and start prepping them now. Good luck with this one! -Michael Bean, Owner & Head Coach, Biz Studio
