There needs to be a darkness to him, and he also needs to be very likeable and vulnerable (he’s not Damian!). He’s introverted and shy, but intelligent beyond his age. If they’re holding an open call audition, it means that they’re looking for new talent and you might be it. There’s no cost for something like this, the agency is looking for kids to add to its roster so in the end what you’re offering benefits them. I repeat, no cost. Nada. Free. So if you’re looking for an agent, any of these open call auditions are a good chance to show your stuff. “Open call” means that you don’t have to book an appointment, you can just show up on the day ready to go. It also means that there might be lots of people there before you, so if you’re serious about it show up early and be one of the first one’s in the door. I don’t know what the note about “two commercial casting directors” means, but I’d suggest contacting them at the email address below and asking if they want you to prepare anything for the audition.
