NOTES: Preference will be given to existing members of Deep Cove Stage Society. Successful auditionees will be required to join the club at the first rehearsal – membership fee $10; Rehearsals begin first week of August. STORYLINE: During WW2, Joe Keller and Herbert Deever were partners in a machine shop turning out defective airplane parts that resulted in the death of many pilots. Herbert went to jail for this but Joe escaped punishment, took over the business and made a lot of money. A love affair develops between Ann Deever, Herbert’s daughter and Chris Keller, Joe’s son. An appearance by George Deever, Herbert’s son embittered by his father’s imprisonment leads to the climax of the story.
