STORYLINE:
Based on a Guillermo del Toro’s real life story. “Shhh…” is a film about a kid and his fears he endures at night. Already bullied by his nasty older sister, he has to deal with a bigger problem he encounters every time he tries to go to the washroom by himself.
CHARACTERS:
Guillermo (Age 6-10): A scrawny timid child who has not yet learn to stand by himself.
Hellena (Age 10-12): A well-manicured bratty girl who likes to torment her little brother.

Hi people at Biz Studio,
We’re a group of experienced filmmakers and Visual Effects Artists whose professional credits include films like District 9, Twilight: Eclipse, Tron 2 and Watchmen. We have a big passion in making movies and we’re currently working on a 10 minute fantasy/horror short film. We have a great script and we’re currently looking for a couple child actors for the lead roles. Somebody at Vancouver Film School recommended your school for talent and we thought it would be a great experience for your students if they are interested in auditioning.
Although this will be a non-profit project, it would be a great medium to showcase their talent and network with industry professionals. We can guarantee that this will be something they will be proud to be a part of and will be a great experience. Most likely it will be a two day film shoot (we have not set the dates yet, but we are looking to shoot in mid september and we’ll let them know well in advance) .
