CHARACTERS:

M 16-18 | Beau: Beau is reserved, awkward and indecisive; particularly in the face of further social isolation. Despite yearning to depart from the party, he chooses to remain for much longer than necessary out of fear of hurting Avery’s feelings.

M 16-18 | Avery: Avery is extroverted, well-meaning yet occasionally brash, especially towards his best friend, Beau. He throws him a birthday party, however, he fails to acknowledge his discomfort regarding the situation.

STORYLINE:

Beau is a socially awkward teenager stuck at a house party thrown in honour of his birthday by his best friend Avery. He attempts to leave several times, but the obvious implications of the action, along with something deeper, almost subconscious, prevents him from exiting the house.
